Great idea right???…..well in the movie “Night Shift” (1982) it was my favorite part and quote from Michael Keaton. I was spending some time after lunch rush with a few employees and Britany had a great idea what to do with some peas we had……she mentioned a great soup idea. I gave her the “feed the tuna mayo” and she looked at me like i was crazy…….then i explained that is what i like to say when someone has a great idea. She was happy i thought her idea was good.
It got me to thinking…..that sometimes when the world is whizzing by at 100 miles per hour, take the time to look for the ideas from unlikely sources. Britany is no more than 20 years old, working at campo while in college, she probably wont go on to be a chef, but she uses cooking as way to live. She has a great work ethic and everyone really likes her here. It proved to me again that if i keep my eyes open i will see and learn more than ever!

That whole conversation was so funny! And everyone does love Brittany, because I know I do!

I love this post. I was just thinking the other day of the saying “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” but how many of us hold back when we have something nice to say, or have an idea but keep it in. Good for Britany for speaking up, can’t wait to visit the restaurant again!
