My career has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of food and beverage settings; from fine dining restaurants to ski resort casual outlets. I’ve grown existing businesses, to building a new facility from the ground up. I look forward to each day developing personally and professionally as an individual, and as a team, and I will always reflect on and appreciate the opportunities afforded me in my career. I am excited to be a part of the successful team at Campo.

Tommy Linnett, Executive Chef

I’ve been immersed in the restaurant business since I was 15 years-old and after completing a degree in Business and Spanish from St. Mary’s College, I decided to pack my knives and head to culinary school in Scottsdale, AZ. When I graduated and came back to the Reno-Tahoe area (where I grew up), I immediately contacted Mark Estee because I loved what he was doing with the local food community. I admire his culinary talent and advocacy of our region. I began my career at Campo Mammoth as sous chef, quickly moving up to executive chef. I’m really excited to be back in Reno and in the Campo kitchen is where I feel most at home. I love that our menu changes daily and I have the freedom to explore new dishes.

I have been in the restaurant industry for 20 years and am looking forward to many more. I am from the Reno/Tahoe area and am very enthusiastic about the growth in Downtown and Midtown. I am excited and proud to be involved in the locally owned and locally supported food movement here, as well as sharing new ideas with our guests and staff. Learning something new every day and keeping me on my toes is why I chose this business, I love what I do. I love what we do.
